Best tool for conceptual design of XML structure? by Khaar 2004-12-15 07:41:33
To make a concept, not to edit schemas.
If the XML in question is more or less "flat", then it's no problem. But if it gets quite deep, it's a bit of a question. I used to use either Notepad or Excel (to include other information). But lately I use mostly OneNote because of it's very simple to design a tree structure there. However, sometimes I also want to add notes to each node such as description, type, whether it's optional, etc.

And the structure currently in the making is promising to be quite extensive in both length, depth and note quantity.
Ironically, I need it to make XML documents describing XML structures, so I'd welcome suggestions about that as well.
