games... There's some pretty nifty small games, like Arkanoid and Tetris clones, but once you move into complex things like RTS/Strategy games or shooters things tend to never get a good overall polish. Either it got only gameplay but bad controls, AI and/or graphics, or it got the graphics but no levels made or stuff like that. The best I can think of is probably a MUD or Rouge-likes (Zangband is my personal favourite there).
