The only decent OSS games I know of are ones which were developed closed and then opened, to whit: - Quake - Quake 2 - Marathon AlephOne Games which STARTED as OSS have all been 90% done and STAYED that way. Open source development is VERY good at the first 90%, but nobody finds the last 10% fun, so it winds up not being done. Sadly, the last 10% is where the good stuff in a game happens.
