wife do the in hospital lab, private clinic, or research? I hear the hospital shift ones are hell so I really think I'll avoid employment in that line. Med Lab Techs are so in demand here actually that you can pretty much pick a place to work and have a very high chance of getting where you want. Here I was told if I do hospital work while it has good benifits I'll get graveyard and be on my own. In one sense that isn't too bad. I don't mind working on my own and I like the night shift. But the bad point is I'd be dealing with sometimes beligerant half awake patients taking samples because they don't have the nurses in particular get them.
