There is NO evidence or even suggestions that America is trying to convert anybody, least of all the Middle East. *If* there were any such plan of conquest (which there is not) it would be for land, resources, and money, the least of our concerens are weither or not Arabs worship whomever. Furthermore there is no way anybody will ever be able to turn America into a Theocracy, short of the second coming, nor are there any politicians striving to achieve this. Sure there may be the occasional right-wing pundant spewing forth blasphemies on television, but they are there souly for the entertainment value and precious few actually take them for anything more than a good chuckle.
Conservatives, moderates, and anybody else not blinded by ideals should be able to see that abortion isn't something that should be used as birth control, third graders should not be taught about sex, sexuality, masturbation, or anything like that, let's let our kids be kids for awhile. Is there anything wrong with that? What's worse; changing some of the laws from the last 50 years, or changing, repealing, and/or wiping our collective behinds with the constitution as many liberals would like to do. |
