acountability in that the US does not want to bear the responsibility for things when they go south as they have on many other previous occasions where American military forces were used in foreign nations such as Columbia. I must admit, though that I have a combined bias - I am enormously cynical of US foreign policy and have very little "real" knowledge to base my opinions on. I was on the understanding that the "contractors" were being employed by the US and not the Columbian government...
