question and answer from the article. However, I disagree on the answer. As I see it, neither government wants to commit troops to the problem because both governments see it as a law enforcement problem. If there is a lack of accountability, it is on the side of the Columbians because the Columbians are the ones needing the job done and supervising the tasks. The US is just supplying money to the Columbians to fight the drugs; one way they are doing it is with these contractors.
