combat troops could put a quicker end to things. However, neither government seems to think that is necessary for what would otherwise be a law enforcement problem.

Personally I think the contractors are crazy for not beinging air support with them on these spray missions. I also believe that what they are doing should be military ops due to the level of resistance from the drug people. Until the civilians in the USA think that this is a serious enough problem to really use combat troops on, it will remain a law enforcement problem.
