Short answer: "kill" is a bad translation; "murder" is better.

Seriously, if you think "kill" is the correct translation, you must think the Jews were completely disassociative.

Verse 17 is in direct violation of Adam and Eve's children, if you believe we all are from 2 human beings, who must have commited adultry in order to populate the earth.

I assume you meant incest. Yes, unless you suppose God made wives for Adam and Eve's kids, incest is required. But Leviticus contains plenty of new commands. You wouldn't point to a pre-Moses person eating pork and criticize them for violating the dietary rules--why not allow that incest may not have always been a sin?
