While dreaming, our brains are supposed to become really good at finding patterns and connections, far better than while awake. This may be where the "Esmond" name came from, just after imaging dealing with an unknown intelligence (whatever that thing you were making at first).
Have you been dealing with anyone who has an eating disorder or is obsessed about dieting? If so, that may have become the "cut off your right hand." I.E., if you don't want to eat as much, remove one of the vehicles for getting food.
When you said the thing about channeling, did that just randomly come up, or did you know the whole time and just mention it then?
Other than that, this is hopefully just a nightmare that will pass in time. |
