Were hurt by pedophiles because "oh the kids just making up stories." That was the mentality of that day.

And they used to lock up shock treatment, labotomize, drug, and rape people who were "different."

"Swarming" was seen as ok. It was simply viewed as a social way of enforcing societal norms by beating it into people.

Having no child seats was also acceptable. So kids would go wild all over the car be it splattered wildly in an accident or wildly driving parents nuts.

Food additives now deamed poisionous were considered ok for general food. Asbestos was considered safe insulation(now those kids as adults are dying from it).

There were alot of things... Alot some of us survived or maybe didn't. I guess the mind remembers the good and as a self protecting feature in some forgets the bad. Though it's the bad that makes us learn and grow so that we can experience more good than bad.(ie if you don't learn from the past you are doomed to repeat it. While somethings of the past weren't too bad and might of been enjoyable they were certainly not all rosey)
