XP Pro on a friends dads laptop (sheesh). Boots ok, but screen black, no icons or taskbarMouse pointer visible and responsive. Rightclick no response. CtlAltDel no response. Safe mode - same but with safemode text in corners as expected. Mouse pointer visible and moving. Win-R - no response. Win-E ditto. Any ideas ? WaveyDavey
