A Canadian Pastor arrested for reading the bible? by glitch2004-12-14 07:45:08

Probably right. by Illiad 2004-12-14 09:15:56
However, it's not because the secular populace has suddenly decided to attack the Church. This has been going on for quite some time -- theocratic influence has been waning in Canada for decades, and for all intents and purposes the Canadian government is purely secular.

Which I think is the right thing to do. Religious beliefs have no place in secular government. By all means let people worship as they wish; just don't try to govern me under the auspices of an organized faith that I want nothing to do with.
