My mom won't leave any light on if she wasn't in the room, nor will she leave her coffee pot or toaster plugged when she is done with it. The only reason we don't leave our lights on all night is because the lights would filter through the blinds and keep us up at night. Well that and we are broke and can't afford to waste the electricity right now. Not that our meager light display is anything worth competing over. Hopefully next year will be better.
