A Canadian Pastor arrested for reading the bible? by glitch 2004-12-14 07:45:08
My dad, a Pastor in Nevada, told me that Pastor's in Canada are afraid now to preach about controversial topics, such as homosexuality. He told me of this one Canadian Pastor who was arrested for reading straight out of the bible about what it says about homosexuality. Because the bible speaks out against it, and due to Canada's beliefs and such, the bible is in conflict with them.

I don't want to start a religious debate, but I am trying to verify if my dads story is true, or if it's a type of urban legend or something a pastor told a pastor who told another pastor and it trickled down to him somehow all skewed. Can Canada really arrest people from reading any religious materials that conflict with their laws or beliefs?
