and others. When the 80186 came out I was still all giggly about the 8086 16 bit internal architecture. Funny how tame all that seems now. I can remember applying Moore's law to try to find out when it would be possible to run movies on a PC (this was when anyone who could get an animated .gif running was a genuine guru). It seemed to be a long way in the future, but of course advanced techniques of digital compression hastened the day.
