was not that the difficulties are easily overcome; clearly they are not. It's just that (if you believe the news article) they are just realizing that there is a problem. I would have thought that inventory control in the space station, more than any other scientific project to date, would have been meticulous, and such problems forseen far in advance. (BTW, recently the NASA chief has announced his resignation - probably just fed up.)
