is pretty darned good. And pretty darned secure, although not "click-happy-idiot" proof. For example, pictures, scripts and other active stuff are suppressed. But you can still click on a link offering free whatever and it may or may not own your computer, depending on how lucky you are, and how good your AV is. But then, the only cure for "click-happy-idiots" is to nail their hands to the desk.
On the other hand, Outlook is a little too "corporate". With all the heavyweight features, it is a little complicated when all someone wants is "You've got mail".
Perhaps you should change the IE security settings? That should stop most spyware dead. Make sure patches are set to download AND install automatically. Sadly, the only way to idiot-proof is to trust Microsoft. |
