my advisors are not that .. rude but as I see it the sole purpose of advisors is ... umm. well to aid burocracy. All they do is sign your schedule slips so you can register. If you try to ask them what schedule they think is best for you, or to help you with the schedule, they say .. well, write the schedule down, and I'll sign it.
