The generosity of UFies has netted US$300 which will be sent to AFI in memory of our departed friend, lessa. The actual total was $298.49 (some funds were in canadian dollars and did not convert evenly), since it was so close, I just rounded it up. I will be mailing them a check this week for $300 specifying that it is from the User Friendly community in memory of Melissa. I will pass along any response I receive from them.
To all those that donated, thank you. Each time you watch a restored old movie, may you think of and fondly remember lessa.
