On branch 1700+ and we've still not found an optimal solution. It is set to run for just under an hour; we'll see what turns up. I, uh, cheated. I'm running on the dual Athlon 1800+. Running it on a 5 year old celeron Thinkpad seemed a bit unfair to the laptop. I believe the professor mentioned that to find the optimal performance, his ran for about half an hour on a fairly new Dell... Good thing this is the last project for the class; can you imagine what would come next? J
