A single, defenseless woman up against two obviously delinquent juvenile hoodlums. No wonder she used all means available to defend herself. And when she spotted the third brother she had to strike in pre-emptive self-defense again - obviously he was going to help his brothers, and he was at least as dangerous as the other two. Yes, this is sarcastic. But it shows how easy it is to feel your life threatened, and use any means available to defend yourself. After such an adrenaline rush it's no wonder she needed a smoke. I hear that adrenaline high is even better than sex! So easy to become addicted to - wonder if that was the problem all along?
