Use the "Now" function. And if you want it to look nice (or if you want just the date or just the time,) use the "Format" function, documented at http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/vbenl r98/html/vafctFormat.asp. The function: Format(Now, "yyyymmdd Hh:Nn:Ss") would return the date and time. The meaning of the letters in the second parameter can be found by following the "See Also" link and selecting "User-defined Date/Time formats."
