Sword of Truth series is stinkin' amazing. David Weber is an excellent fantasy author and his Honor Harrington series comes highly recommended. John Ringo is also really good, and I'd recommend anything he's written. If you like history and stuff, Eric Flint wrote a book called 1632 that's awesome, and there are now 1633 and I think even 1634. Oh, and back to the fantasy, I've recently been caught up by the Forgotten Realms books by Salvatore. Have fun. :)
