About Fantasy books by Winsmith2004-12-06 10:14:32

    Thanks :) by Winsmith 2004-12-06 10:32:11
I liked "Good Omens", which is Pratchett plus Gaiman, so I could have a look into the Gaiman books you mentioned.

Oh, and my g/f just tells me she has just about every book Anne McCaffery has ever written. Nice :)

As for the others, I'll have to have a look around probably. Since I like to read the books in their original language, which is mostly english, it is quite hard to get them in libraries. (Buying them is no problem, thanks to amazon, but libraries here in germany usually don't have many fantasy or sci-fi books, let alone english ones...)

Note to self: Get some Asimov, you've heard some good things about this writer. Isn't he russian? So it'd probably be just a translation even if I got the books in english and thus I could just as well go to the libraries for the german editions...
