That is the first place I ask. None of the suggested solutions worked.

As far as the hardware goes I don't want to spend money on something, when I don't have any idea whether I would use that OS in the future. The more I try it, the less appealing it gets. I don't do shell scripting or C or any of those languages. I am a database geek, and I do PL/SQL, and a little bit of Java and XML. That is it. I need an out of the box solutions. One of the reasons I don't use Firefox either. I want it all to be made for me, so I can deselect instead of selecting options/features.
