I can't remember the last time I saw someone drive like that. Ergo you will react better than me in that situation in the near future.

OTOH, having spent much of my early driving experience around Peterborough, I will likely react better if people start throwing paint from flyovers (yes it was a regular occurrence on Paston Parkway in Peterborough, a multi-lane road which I used to drive several times per week)

Or, for that matter, when a pheasant hits the windscreen (also happenned, only the bird died and traffic disruption was minimal)

Unforunately, nobody has any idea whether they are dealing with you or me, so when putting other drivers into extreme situations they should assume that they are facing the driver with less experience of that particular situation.

Not to mention that drivers in front braking for reasons you have not forseen are more common than any of these situations. So what does that say about people who are not ready to react to that particular situation?
