I have, and I haven't seen One book where Native American legend was presented as "This is what happened...". For one thing, the native legends tend to be too darn short to make a book out of. You have to collect a bunch together, and that, or necessity requires addition of at least some contextual material.
I am undecided regarding that book, largely due to the title "Grand Canyon: A Different View". That title tells you that is is not the "standard" view. Beyond that, I am not willing to pass judgement from what little I know now.
However, it seems to me that you are going at Least as far out of your way to find offense as those challanging the book are. And I must point out that not all Christians are Creationists. I don't even think they are a majority.
