          I'm curious - have you read this book? by pk2317 2004-10-22 14:24:22
Or are you simply assuming that you know its entire contents?

As far as I understand it, it is simply an alternative viewpoint to how the Grand Canyon came to be. Native American legends are an alternative viewpoint on how the GC came to be. Billions and billions of years of erosion is an alternative viewpoint to how the GC came to be. Paul Bunyan is an alternative viewpoint to how the GC came to be.

Which of these you choose to believe or disbelieve is entirely up to you. I do not see the sale of any of these books being "the government forcing you to believe that X is right and everything else is WRONG!".

Maybe this book has some good sceience that says the Canyon could have been formed by a large hydrological event (such as a Great Flood). Maybe this book has some questionable science. Maybe the book has no science whatsoever. I haven't read it. I don't know.
