The Nazi's used the swastika, the "good" symbol. (As did a lot of others until then, like the American 45 Infantry Devision or Carlsberg Beer). The counter-clockwise version (sauvastika) meant bad luck originally.

But recently some cultures use the former bad-luck sauvastika version to mean "good luck", to diference that from the swastika version used by the nazis.
