Government sponsored religion again. by Naruki2006-11-19 12:55:59
  I'm confoozled. by AG_wyvern 2004-10-22 12:26:42
Did the government sponsor the writing of the book? Or did the park service simply allow the book to be sold in the same shop as other Grand Canyon paraphernalia?

Do I think the Great Flood carved it out? Nope. Do I believe in Creationism? Not gonna answer :-)

Do I believe that a specific religion should be tought in public schools or advanced by government agencies? No.

Do I think that allowing this book to be sold with other Grand Canyon stuff is a problem? No.

Is the park abandoning its opinion that the canyon was formed through millions of years of natural forces? Not that I can see. Now, if they start saying it was the Great Flood, I'd have a problem with it.
