Dnag nab a lot of mobile homes are being brought	by shorty82	2004-10-22 11:58:44
into the area! I have seen probably 20 single-wide mobile homes being trucked in the last three days. This was only on my commute to and from school so most likely a good bit more than that have been brought in. They are in convoys of either one or two mobile homes, with escorts (civilian, not police). The single truck convoys usually have only a rear escort vehicle while the two truck convoys have two escorts (one rear and one front) I believe that they belong to FEMA as one of the ones I passed the other day had "FEMA" stenciled below the license plate. They are probably being brought in to provide temporary housing for the people who lost their homes in the hurricane and have no where else to go. I remember hearing that FEMA would be bringing some in.
