vehicles on the roads. Especially ambulances. Once I drove on one of the roads that doubles as air strips (in war time, duh). A long straight road that could fit like three cars on each side (even though there's only one lane each way, but there's plenty of "spare tarmac" on both side). I saw the ambulance pull up behind me, not really going fast, only with the lights on, no siren. When it got closer I completely left the lane onto the spare asphalt (not supposed to be used as an extra lane, but it's ok to use it "if you want to" to make over taking easier), there was no traffic from the other way, no other cars to be seen at all...

The ambulance even made a "thank you" thing with the (directional?) lights afterwards... That kinda made me feel warm and fuzzy. :)
