If you think people must react the way you want them to in a crisis situation, you are going to cause a lot of harm some day. If you _must_ drive like a bat out of hell, then you had better take as many precautions as possible, and you definitely take _all_ the responsibility. If you are driving your bike safely, then you won't have a problem should the person in front of you slam on their brakes for _any_ reason. Your only complaint should be with the jerk following you too closely.
