...many roads are banked on curves for a rated maximum. Let's not forget that even when a road has no other vehicles on it, you may come across a pedestrian.

Taking a curve a little too fast could cause one to lose control and in less than a second you could demolish a pedestrian and the lives of his/her family and friends. Not to mention one's own.
