When you drive, do you always look in the mirror, or check it every number of seconds?

If the guy is driving 120mph, you're going to check your mirror, see him back there, look forward, check your mirror, see him on your arse.

You can either stay where you are, or go right. If you go right, and the dipstick behind you was impatient, he could be going right also. Wham.

If one is driving that far above the speed limit, normal reactions can be dangerous.

And of course, one thing wasn't mentioned. Was the person in the fast lane actually passing cars, albeit at a slower rate than the idiot going 120? If the traffic is anything like cities that I have lived in, you can just stay in the left and keep passing a lot more safely than going left, cutting in, going left a few seconds later, cutting, in, etc.

If he was complaining about 1 10-15 mph differential, I wouldn't be overly upset, btw.
