People who drive slow in the fast lane by SnArL2004-10-22 08:55:58
  WTF?!? by tangentblade 2004-10-22 09:40:17

OK, that's mostly a reaction to everyone else's replies. I immediately assumed this person meant something like 'I was traveling at X and she was traveling X/2'. Now, if you, SnArL are attempting to do 120mph, you should do that on an empty highway with a median wall then make a quick left into said wall. You're f*#@!%ing stupid for traveling that much faster than the posted speed limit.

That said, there is most certainly a problem on the highways with slow drivers. Problem #1 is the law -- in my state, the posted minimum is 40mph, and in many places 70 is the limit. With enforcement officials giving up to 9mph leway, is easy to be doing nearly twice as fast as some moron thinking they can do 40 in the left/fast lane - that's just as stupid as exceeding the speedlimit by too much.

Also, I run across this scenario too often: I travel right at the speed limit (little car, little shaky, cruise control); in the 70mph zones I usually stay to the right to let everyone else pass; however some of the farking imbecils that pass like to decelerate (further along the road) beside some d00d doing 65mph, then I can't even pass. My advice? PICK A SPEED AND STICK TO IT AND DON'T GO BELOW THE SPEED LIMIT IN THE FAST LANE!!!
