Even, I think Renault, with their "1:43 scaled models" was cool, this one is a bit over-the-top to drive around.
But yes, if you can have it for about the same price as the other one: why not?
But to convince your SO ... find a nice LOOKING car, with many PRACTICAL options:

BREAKS : are very good if someone right in front of you suddenly slows down.

REVERSE GEAR : on some narrow roads, one of two drivers will have to "back up" a bit every now and then. And if your garage doesn't have two doors ...

STEERING WHEEL: for cars not having the first option, this one offers an escape route

Oh, any of your female friends will be able to find others, I'm sure. (I found some, and I am not even female)
