ATTN: webmasters! by alphascorpii 2004-10-22 05:54:14
I am slightly at a loss here. I am a sysad, but no webmaster. Unfortunately both our webmasters are either seriously ill or very far away. But there are things that need to be done.
So, this lucky duty fell on me. What I need to is change a php setting in the php.ini. A 'find' gave me /usr/local/lib/php.ini where I changed the setting as required. This however had no effect. The software I need to install still complains the setting was on but should be off. So, do I need to restart or re-initiate anything? And if yes, what?

Any hint would be appreciated.
