That's hard going. If you're really tight for cash, I'd rather you helped out in ways that don't cut into things like rent and food money. Do as you have been doing. It's enough and I'm grateful! _{What constantly irks me is that there are people who don't have much money who still offer to support the site with cash, while there exists a large percentage of readers who rake in good salaries and do nothing to support UF. And some of them even use ad blockers. Nice.}
