There is a logistics problem. by McGowan 2004-10-21 15:44:20
There simply are not enough resources to keep shipping illegals out and at the end of the day they'll be back again so is it worth fighting a losing battle?

It's worse in the UK, it should be so easy to stop illegals yet we don't and once they are here we follow the human rights code set out by the EU that no-one else follows.

We had a kind of jail in Dover where most of the illegals arrived but because of processing time and difficulties with the law none of them were being charged with anything so it soon became illegal to keep them in holding and the gates were unlocked and they just walk out and find jobs, end up another person on the street, get a photo in the paper as another abused slave of some mob or another.

Simply put, because the UK follows the laws and no-one else in the EU does we are a soft target. France is basically a holding cell till they send them to the UK.
