  Looking past the next 4 years by kiga 2004-10-21 11:35:54
My support for Kerry is not based as much on what I expect him to do in the next 4 years (Iraq will be a mess no matter what anybody does--that's partly why I opposed the war at the start) but instead, what I hope will be the lesson for future presidents generally. I hope to send the message that if you start a preemptive war, you *will* be voted out of office, as a warning to any future president tempted to do the same.
