It is simply that not everyone is in the habit of employing it. I know this, too well, from my own, prior miseries.

Like most "attitudes", it is actually a _skill_ that can (and, IMO *should*) be learned (and actively taught). In
plain fact, the contrary is taught (and internalized) far more frequently, and propagated like a viral meme

The only way to change it, is to change it in ourselves, and live accordingly. If others ask, driven by their
own miseries, all I can to is tell them "what worked for me", and let them use it, or not, as they see fit.
