Just about everyone who glances the screen on my laptop asks how is 3D possible in Flash and how do I handle the movement. The trick is that there's absolutely no 3D anything in there, I just made it look that way. A few gradients, a wire mesh and simulated illumination and shading go a long way. But what actually convinces them is that the character moves perfectly along the mesh of uneven ground, gets smaller in the distance and can walk around the tree on the test scene.

I hope I can get started on Sunshine this week, this engine is just about right for it...
