XPlane is one of the few... by EhreVerriet2004-09-24 18:15:21
ok had me wondering there by celticess 2004-09-24 23:02:45
see he loves X Plane and is one of the major players in the scenery project for it(he also does hashcash and a few other things like vnc and some sort of flame thing for electric sheep). He also has hmm 12 computers last count: 5300, g3 power book, titanium book, at least 2 XP's, 2 or 3 486's, and I forget what else. One runs windows because the simulators are sluggish with the mac windows emulator. He's in Lancaster, UK.

Personally I found XPlane extreamly boring.(yes I realize all sims take some time but Xplane your like 4 hrs not doing a hell of alot and could put the bloody thing on autopilot) I'm more of a puzzle kinda girl or word game. I do play sims and the odd bit of RPG but when I play a game usually it's some sort of puzzle or Magic the Gathering.(offline or via one of the online non offical tools to play it)

Btw I'd have a mac but they are pricy and I'm a student living off of disability benifits for now and trying to also raise my 12 yr old son. I managed to build him a new PC last year by saving up $400 but gah I can't afford to get to doing anything special with mine.(and I think the MB might need replaced :/ oh well given time I'll get to it I've got more important things to worry about considering I have access to another machine)
