Power Point Question by radiowave9112004-09-24 18:47:57
Ok, now it is fixed for XP, reversed for 2k by radiowave911 2004-09-24 20:39:09
This is the weirdest thing. I fixed it in XP by making the image the active item on the slide (clicked on it), then choosing COPY. I then opened MS paint, chose PASTE. Then I flipped the image in paint (didn't know there was such an option, but it was there!) and saved the resulting image file. I then removed the image from the slide and inserted the newly flipped version. Worked perfectly (after resizing the image and positioning it properly). I actually did this proess twice - onnce on the box with office 2k, the other on the office XP box (both machines are running XP as the OS). When I did this under office 2k, the image looked backwards under 2k (as expected) and STILL LOOKED BACKWARD UNDER OFFICE XP!!! I'm going to save two versions of the file (I told the presenter I'd make him a new CD with the corrected file on it, plus the updates we needed). One for Power point under office 2k, the other under office XP. I also tried the packager on the unaltered version under office 2k - when I loaded it on the machine running office XP, the image was backward.

Thanks to those that responded....you may not have given me the exact answer, but you at least gave me some ideas on how to get what I needed. Thanks, again. I know I can count on UFies to help out...
