Get a LASER (a real one, not one of those weenie LED ones). Wait for a dark night. Shine the beam in front of someone walking their dog. Watch as dog follows beam around the sidewalk. Watch the person alternate between looking at the red dot and looking _straight up at the sky_. Probably wouldn't work these days as CE3K and "LASER" pointers are old hat.
