... who don't normally botther to pay attention, this sort of tactic can be distressingly effective. Ruthlessly spun, extreme over-simplification for those too ignorant to realize how blatently they're being decieved. And the mainstream (corporate) press is choosing to be carelessly or not-so-covertly complicit in the deception.
