'The color of magic'. An excellent introduction, and, well, its the first :). If you try to jump right into one of the newer ones, with all of the old jokes involved, I can't imagine it would be any fun :P. The immediate sequel to 'color' is good, and so is ~~Faust~~Eric, Small Gods (Whee! Much fun!), Mort, Carpe Jugulum, all of the books involving the witches (Which was the first one? Meh)... great fun, Pratchett is :).
