      I recomend SP2 to everyone by MikeCDN 2004-09-24 15:34:39
The firewall is much improved, no real need to use a 3rd party now, The security center is usefull, it keeps track of everything and if something goes wrong (like viruses not being updated) it will alert you. The wireless configuration thing is MUCH improved over the previous incarnation, no real need to use other drivers now (I chose it over the Atheros control panel).

and of course like any service pack it comes with other, less advertised stability fixes, updates, and improvments, which you'd either have to load afterwards, and who knows if they would all be availble seperatly.

The IE improvments are nice too for the times taht I have to use IE, I wouldn't recomend a regular user uses the net without them.
